I got to spend a fun evening with 3 of my really good friends. That was a real treat since I don't get to see them much anymore.
These are the couples that went out for supper - Tim & Miriam, Tony & Julie, Ellis & Jenn, and Jason & I. I was glad to meet Julie's little Emily for the first time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I got to spend a whole week back in my beloved Jamaica!
I went to visit my good friend Sharon.  It was so good to see my "kids" again. The three oldest remembered me and gave me such a warm, excited welcome. Jahaeim  Akelia
Tyrell (I picked this shirt out for him. )
Sharon with Alex and Nikayla, the new baby
One day we took the kids down to the shop to get some "sweeties."
They have moved to a new property since I was there. The view from their yard is amazing!
Sunday morning I had the privilege of doing Akelia's hair. (I couldn't wait to cane-row her hair again. It was so much fun!)
The finished product ready to go to church.
They have also started going to a different church since I left because of the unrest in Cantebury, but they decided to go visit Redemption Chapel that Sunday just for me. It was so good to worship with them again. The youth girls led the praise and worship.
This little lady just blessed my heart. She is over 100 and still comes every Sunday.
One day I went into Blossom Gardens Childrens Home for the day. It was fun to suprise the workers there.
There has been a big change of children since I left, and I only recognized around 10 of them. Moses was only a baby when I worked there.
Tianna and I
On Sharon's day off we went shopping and then headed to the beach. The water was so beautiful. (duh!)
For supper we ate at the Native.
They serve wonderful fruit slushies.
Then we spend the rest of the evening visiting with JD's. Sharon, me, Heidi and Jessica
A few random pictures of the kids: Tyrell giving Alex a ride.
It rained one evening and cooled everything off so much that Akelia wanted her jacket on.
Jahaeim being silly.
